  1. How to report a bug in mSQL

  4. Reporting a bug without information showing how to reproduce the bug
  5. doesn't help to solve the problem as we can only solve the problems that
  6. we can reproduce.  If you find what you think is a bug, please gather the 
  7. following information
  8.  
  9.     o Output of "msqladmin version"
  10.     o A dump of the database (using msqldump)
  11.     o The query or queries that reproduce the problem
  12.     o A description of the problem
  13.  
  14. Once you have the above information, please mail it to 
  15.  
  16.     bugs@Hughes.com.au

  18. We fix every bug reported to the bugs mailing address (that we can
  19. reproduce) before the next release is made available.  Sending a bug
  20. report to the mailing list is good for general information purposes, but
  21. unless the report is also sent to the bugs address you can't be sure it
  22. will be fixed.  We try to scan the mailing list for bug reports but we
  23. don't always find all of them.
